The thanksgiving service for the promising Holy Trinity football player Jordan Foote is scheduled to take place this Sunday at noon at the Arnold Road Seventh-day Adventist Church in Kingston.
The service will be followed by interment at the Dovecot Memorial in St Catherine.
The 18-year-old lost his battle with the dreaded bone cancer disease on March 5, 2016.
Prior to this, Foote’s leg was amputated. It is reported that it was amputated five inches above the knee.
Being a key figure in Holy Trinity’s impressive 2014 season where he helped his team reach the finals of the inaugural FLOW Super Cup, he had strong support from organisations as well as schools as they had chipped in and donated towards the necessary treatment he needed.
