And with great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And great grace was upon them all. Acts 4:33
The bible says that life and death are in the power of the tongue and encourages us to choose life so that we may live. But the tendency amongst Christians is to talk about what they feel and know without any proper regard and reverence to the counsel of God concerning such things. The apostle Paul says with the heart man believes unto righteousness but with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. We see a practical demonstration of this in Acts 4 when the apostles testified powerfully to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus and the blessings that came upon them.
What are you testifying about? Some people have made their predicament a constant topic for discussion amongst their friends and loved ones. All they ever get to talk about are the numerous trips they have made to various specialist hospitals in search for treatment for their health condition. Some sisters spend their time talking about all the men who have broken their hearts and disappointed them in marriage, gathering all the evil agreements from the comments of sympathisers who concur that those men are indeed evil.
Let the redeemed of the Lord say so. Let the sick say they are healed by the stripes of Jesus. Let the poor say they are rich because Jesus has taken away the curse of poverty. Let the lonely say they are comforted because God sees to it that none shall lack their mate. Talk about the things that God has done.
Liberation thought: Because I talk about the goodness of God, I will see deliverance and breakthrough overtake me on every side.

Prayer:
I reverse every evil that I have spoken into my life; henceforth my tongue will only speak the promises of God for my life in the name of Jesus!
Father, thank you because you cleanse my lips just as you cleansed the lips of Isaiah, in the name of Jesus
