A bailiff is now outside the Cherry Gardens rental home of disbarred attorney-at-law Harold Brady with a court order for his eviction.
There is also an order for seizure and sale of goods belonging to Brady.
Oswald Sherriah, bailiff for the Supreme Court, says he has the court orders, issued in August, to execute at the Upper St Andrew home.
According to Sherriah, the order for seizure and sale is in relation to outstanding rent totalling US$65,000 or approximately J$7.8 million.
Sherriah says he has been waiting outside the Cherry Gardens home since 6 o’clock this morning as Brady has promised to make a payment by 10 o’clock.
However, up to news time, he says no payment has been made.
While our news team was there Sherriah gave instructions for the removal truck to enter the premises and remove Brady’s belongings.
