Everything is Given
What can we say about such wonderful things as these?
If God is for us, who can ever be against us?
Since God did not spare even his own Son but gave
him up for us all, won’t God, who gave us Christ,
also give us everything else? (Romans 8:31)
The human mind naturally questions everything it hears and tries to apply itself to it. When the mind cannot find answers or apply itself to a phenomenon or an idea, it naturally opposes and rejects it. This has been typical of man’s reaction to the goodness and mercies of God as expressed in His promises to His people. Many think such great promises are too good to be true; how can an omnipotent God be so kind and gentle in His dealings with sinful, weak, mortal man? But God says what He means and means what He says! God is not a man that lies or promises and fails. The gold and silver belong to Him. The cattle on a thousand hills are His possession. He proved His honest commitment to man by sending His own son to die in man’s place.
And now His death and resurrection paid and delivered everything we need. God has given us all things in Christ Jesus; this includes your total liberation from satanic bondages. Nothing can keep you bound. No ancestral power can negate what happened at Calvary. No curse can reverse the fact that Jesus died a cursed death to make us free from curses. Be free in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ! Amen.
Liberation thought: And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God. (Ephesians 3:9)
