Rosemary Idibie, 35, who works as a fashion designer, has been arrested by police officers in Ogwashi-Uku, Delta state for allegedly killing her 11 year old daughter by setting her ablaze.
She committed the act on Saturday after allegedly pouring kerosine on the young girl, Favour, and setting her ablaze.
Confirming her arrest, the acting police public relations officer in the state, DSP Charles Muka, said the suspect was arrested in a forest in Ogwashi-Ukwu following a tip off.
Charles said the victim had been sent on an errand by her mother to buy foodstuff, a task she could not carry out correctly.
