BROTHERS DIE IN HOME INVASION

A second person has died from injuries sustained in yesterday’s deadly home invasion in Mountain Valley, St Elizabeth.

He has been identified as Brian Tomlinson, 21, a tattoo artist of Hayes, Clarendon.

Tomlinson reportedly succumbed to his injuries late yesterday while he was being treated at the Mandeville Hospital.

Omario Ross, a 19-year-old tattoo artist also from Hayes, was killed in the early-morning attack on the house he occupied along with his brother and Tomlinson.

They were reportedly robbed of cash, cell phones and other valuables before the gunmen opened fire.

Ross’ brother remains hospitalised in critical, but stable condition.

Deputy Superintendent Leroy Minott, acting head of the St Elizabeth Police, told The Gleaner today that investigators are making “steady progress” in their probe of the incident.

Minott, however, declined to comment on a possible motive for the attack.

According to reports, the three men and a female were at a house when they were alerted to loud knocks on the door and someone shouting “police.”

It’s reported that one of them opened the door and was surprised by men armed with guns and knives.

The female escape unharmed.

  1. What are the details surrounding this “escaping of the female”??How exactly did she escaped a room full of men armed with knives n guns with murderous intent??I think they meant to say they let her go ,so maybe some questions can be answered if the police interview her.
