A St Ann based Chinese businessman has been arrested by the police after he reportedly stabbed one of his customers with a knife during an altercation yesterday.
Investigators reported that about 1pm, the customer had an argument with another Chinese national in the store operated by the businessman.
The situation was brought under control by security personnel, but tempers flared again between both men.
It is alleged that the businessman used a knife to inflict a wound to the customer resulting in serious intestinal injuries.
He was rushed to the St Ann’s Bay regional hospital for treatment where an angry crowd gathered outside the store to express outrage at the incident.
