DEM GET KETCH WID DI HOSPITAL TINGS

Two persons are in the custody of the Kingston East police in connection with the seizure of items stolen from the Kingston Public Hospital (KPH).

They were detained during an operation in Manley Meadows on Monday.

This was confirmed by Superintendent Victor Hamilton, head of the East Kingston Police, who said pharmaceuticals, thought to be the property of KPH, were found during the raid.

The items also include latex gloves, gauze and paper towels.

When contacted Thursday morning, Colleen Wright, Chief Executive Officer of the KPH, said the hospital was called to the Elletson Road police station on Monday to identify the items.

She said some were imprinted with the hospital’s name.
