ILLEGAL GUNS SEIZED IN HANOVER

Four more illegal weapons have been removed from the nations’ streets.

The guns, along with 34 assorted rounds of ammunition, were seized on Sunday morning in Hanover.

The police report that several lead sheets with the names of persons overseas were also seized during an operation conducted in Land Top in Chester Castle.

It’s reported that, shortly after six o’clock, the police responded to shots being fired in the area.

On their arrival a property was searched and the guns seized.

The items include a Glock 40 pistol with a magazine containing five .40 rounds of ammunition; One Springfield HS 2000 pistol with a magazine containing six 9 mm rounds of ammunition; One 9 mm pistol with a magazine containing seven 9 mm rounds of ammunition, and one Smith and Wesson 9 mm pistol.

Seven .45 cartridges, Nine 9mm cartridges, a cap with ‘Police’ written on it, three masks and 120 lead sheets were also seized.

No one was arrested in connection with the seizure.

The Police High Command has commended the Hanover police for the successful operation.
