ISRAEL IN EGYPT

MEMORY VERSE: GENESIS 15:6- And he believed in the Lord and He counted it to him for righteousness.
PURPOSE
Abraham was chosen to begin a process, which will be the bases of the Christian principle, when the promise of human redemption would be fulfilled in Christ.
Hebrews 11:6
He proves his mighty wonder to the glory of His name, for all to see Him in the life of the Christians.It is interesting and amazing to note that the unbelievers are vessels in which God uses to bring about outright prosperity and deliverance to the called and most time it ends them up.
Romans 9:17 “For this very purpose I have raised you up that I may show my power in you and that my name may be declared in all the earth”
EGYPT- represents negativity.
When Christian is said to be in Egypt he is gone back to his old ways of sin, to be on a trial or going through life test. Egypt experience made Christians to solely depend on God.
Egypt means to reveal the mighty power of God. It also means to build the faith of the Christians, revealing God’s mercies and judgment.
