I’m from Annotto Bay st. Mary. And I’ve been doing music for over 12 years now.

What inspired Advocate for victim is the widespread of domestic violence becoming the new norm and nothing is being done about it.

I think it’s senseless and I’m very heartbroken by how many people we’ve lost to domestic violence.

Victims of domestic violence gain the courage to come forward and speak on what they’re going through. Then authorities helping to make a change by taking the initiative to arrest and charge.

Children are also victims, these things never go away no matter how old they are. It affects them academically, emotionally, and can also lead to self harm or suicide.

Imagine that the woman you’re about to beat or kill is your mother or daughter. You’re weak to hit a woman, your strength should be for another man.

Women tends to have a lot to say sometimes. But honestly that’s all we have as women, words. And as we know the world we’re
living in today, some women practice having more than 1 partners, which a lot of our men cannot handle emotionally.

14)Sometimes people supporters of victims get frustrated because the victims remain in the abusive relationship, how do you think a supporter can employ empathy , support and lead the victim to safer ground ?

It begins with the victim wanting to get out of the situation. The supporter really cannot do anything unless the victim wants change for themselves. Every situation is different and should be dealt with accordingly.
