LOOK OUT FOR THE MANIPULATORS

“Beloved, believe not every spirit but try the spirit whether they are of God; because many false prophet are gone out into the world” (1 John 4:1).
Don’t just accept everyone who claims to be of God, test the spirit operating in them. One of the divine endowments that will assist you in playing a very active role in the spirit world is the gift of discerning spirits. This enables you to identity the spirit in operation in any situation. Today, many believers are attacking fellow believers because they lack the ability to identify the spirit behind such attack.

There is a demon assigned to every evil activity on earth. There are spirits behind pride, lust, gossiping, etc. There are spirits behind the nakedness that controls the fashion industries. That is why they can expose what should be covered in their body. However, with this revelation in mind, it means anyone who violates God’s word at any point is more likely to be under the influence or possession of an unseen and unclean spirit.

Today, there are many manipulators in churches; stop fighting your brethren rather, ask God to give you the spirit of discernment to identify the spirit behind such negative operation, having in mind that behind every bad occurrence, is an evil spirit backing it up. But right now, if you are in such a situation, the fire of the Holy Ghost is coming upon every backup spirit in you in the name of Jesus.

In 1 king 22:20-23, the bible made us to understand how a demon went in as a lying spirit in the mouth of King Jehoshaphat. But it took the gift of discernment of spirits to know the lying spirit. Without this gift, many will be deceived & doomed. When you have this gift, you will see the spirit behind anything before and after such act happens. 1 John 4:1 says

“Beloved, believe not every spirit but test the spirit
whether they are of God; because false prophets
are gone out into the world”.

The gift of discerning of spirits opens your eyes to see into the spirit realm. It also helps you to differentiate between Angels from the demon because the devil sometimes masquerades as an angel (2 Corinthian 11:14). Use the Word of God to engage whatever situation you find yourself until you obtain victory. Ask the Lord to open your eyes today. If you take situations at their face value, you will mostly be fighting your helpers and embracing your enemies.

PRAYER:

Father, I thank for the gift of discerning of spirits

Any demon spirit working behind the scene to manipulate my destiny is terminated in Jesus name

I refused to be manipulated or control by any evil agenda in Jesus name
