MACHETE MOM’S CASE PUT OFF TILL NEXT MONTH

The 44 year old mother whose beating of her teenage daughter with a machete surfaced on social media last year, had the case against her adjourned when she appeared in the St. Thomas Parish Court on Monday morning.

Doreen Dyer is to return to court on February 9.

When the matter came up for mention, the court was told that the Social Enquiry Report which was ordered was not ready.

The presiding judge Luciana Jackson adjourned the matter stating that the report was needed in order for her to give her sentence indication.
