MAKE YOUR WAY PROSPEROUS
“This book of the Lord shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shall meditate therein day and night,… for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous and then thou shall have good success” (Joshua 1:8).
Our opening verse shown to us how God wants us to prosper and have good success. It’s by meditating on the Word and observing to do what it says. It’s an instruction. Observe again what the Word says; first, it says, “…but thou shalt meditate therein day and night…” showing you that it’s your responsibility to meditate; not the Lord’s. I therefore release the auction of meditating constantly and consistently into your life in Jesus name. Instruction terminates destruction.
It also concluded by saying in the second verse that …“thou shalt make thy way prosperous…” This shows that you’re the one, not God, that’ll make your way prosperous. God’s responsibility is to give you the recipe for prosperity, success and the good life, and He already did that through His Word. Now, you’re to use the Word to make your life glorious. Yes, you can, because you’re a child of God. You’re made in His image; you belong in His class. You have His creative ability; therefore, create your victorious life using the material He’s made available to you for that and that material is “His Word”.
God made you to function like Him; and that is through faith. He’s the God of faith; He created the whole world through words. As you study the account in Genesis chapter one, you’d observe that before He spoke creation into being, He first had moments of meditation. The Bible says the earth was without form and void, and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the spirit of God “brooded” upon the face of the waters (Genesis 1:2). That is meditation.
Afterwards, He began to say, “let there be…” and there was. This is the same principle and power to create your victorious life. So, it’s up to you.
