St. Ann man electrocuted while trying to steal electricity
A man was electrocuted in Watt Town, St. Ann on Monday while reportedly attempting to steal electricity.
He is 39 year old farmer Jermaine Reid.
It is reported that about 10:30 a.m., Mr Reid was in his community of Endevor when he attempted to attach a wire to a Jamaica Public Service power line.
Shortly after, family members heard him crying for help.
He was found unresponsive on the ground.
Mr. Reid was taken to a medical facility where he was pronounced dead.
