MAN WHO KILLED MALE NURSE IS A SERIAL KILLER

Detectives are investigating whether a man busted for the murder of a Queens nurse may be responsible for up to seven other murders, police sources said.

Danuel Drayton, 27, was arrested in Los Angeles for allegedly strangling Samantha Stewart, 29, in her Queens home on July 17. Cops caught up with him in North Hollywood where they also found a woman tied up and held against her will in the place where he was staying.

Drayton, of New Haven, Conn., is also accused of a rape in Brooklyn.

Now, authorities in Los Angeles and New York are looking into the possibility he may have committed other homicides, the sources said.

In Los Angeles, he is accused of attempted murder, penetration with a foreign object and false imprisonment. His bail was set at $1.25 million.

Stewart sustained head and neck trauma. Investigators said she met Drayton on the dating site Tinder.

“It is believed by us that this individual uses dating websites to meet women and then victimizes these women,” NYPD Chief of Detectives Dermot Shea said during a press conference Thursday.

“There are potentially more victims out there.”

The LAPD declined to comment.

Drayton was arrested June 30 in Nassau County for strangulation and has five priors in his home state of Connecticut, including another strangulation arrest in 2011.
