RADA rubbish absurd claims by desperate Peter Phillips
The Rural Agricultural and Development Authority (RADA) is rubbishing claims made by the Opposition People’s National Party (PNP) hapless Leader Peter Phillips at a conference held at 89 Old Hope Road today.
The PNP alleged that RADA spent 1.6 Billion Dollars on De-bushing in St. Thomas alone under questionable circumstances.
But in a swift and stinging response RADA shot back totally rejecting the assertions made by the PNP.
In a statement release RADA said that for the entire RADA spend for work done over Four years including 2015 was 1,724,739,098 dollars. That money was for work Nationally and not in one parish.
The statement went on to say that it is important for the country to understand that no contract was issued for bushing, but includes paving, patching and grading.
RADA said the suggestion made by the PNP of a 1.6 billion spent in one parish is absurd.
