SOAK UP GOD’S WORD
Daily Prayer Times: 5:30am, 12noon, 6:00pm, 9:00pm
“Submit yourself to God and be at peace with Him; in this way, prosperity will come” (Job 22:21)
The Word of God is indeed the final authority in all matters of life. I have read the Bible over thirty-five times from cover to cover and yet I can’t stop being amazed at the wonders and the Excellencies of the Word of God. The Word in our spirit is truly food for our soul and the road map for our peace, progress and prosperity.
The 22nd chapter of Job confirms a few of the basic principles of making the Word of God personally operative in our lives. In verse 21, we are encouraged to acquaint ourselves with God so that we will be at peace with Him and have the prospect of good coming our way. It is emphasized from His mouth and then to be sure to lay up his words in our hearts.
This means that we must soak our hearts in the Word of God by reading, memorizing and meditating on it. How good it is to know that God is planning to have good come our way. This truth is stated in Job 23:14: “For He performeth the thing that is appointed for me; and many such things are with him”
Wow… this tells us that God is taking an active and working part in our lives as we acquaint ourselves with Him and store up His Word in our hearts. Today, ask yourself, am I acquainting myself with God by reading, memorizing and meditating on His Word? Doing this will help you store His Word in your heart and will stimulate you to look for the finger of God working in your life.
As a Prophet, I see the Word of God in your spirit working for you. The Spirit of God will direct you; your head will never lack oil; and your hands will never run dry. Money will meet money in your hand. I command all round increase upon your life. You will complete whatever project you have embarked upon within its due season. I prophesy ‘divine acceleration in your feet’. This is your season of glory. Pursue, overtake and recover all. You will never go down in life. When men say there is a casting down, you will say there is a lifting up.
All these prophecies will come upon you and overtake you if you would continually and consciously receive the Word of God in your spirit by reading, memorizing and meditating on it daily. You are next in line for a miracle and your season is now.
PRAYER:
Father, I thank you for your Word in my spirit.
Help me to understand your Word better, in Jesus name.
Your Word is producing what it says about me, in Jesus name.
