“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28
A kidnapper who was eventually caught by the Special Anti-robbery Squad in one of our states confessed to journalists that he went into kidnapping in order to make ends meet. Likewise, many people have been pressured to terminal ailments and eventual death as they struggled to make ends meet. Your needs never cease to come at you, as you struggle to satisfy one, another comes pressing harder at you: from the need to go to school or go learn a trade to the need to secure a job or establish a private trade; from the need to earn a living to the need to get yourself a comfortable accommodation; from the need to get married and care for your spouse to having children and providing for them; from the need to save for the rainy day and secure your future and the future of your children, to giving your children good and quality education, and meeting your sundry social obligations, and so does your need rise on and on. The list is simply endless. Some have met their death as they laboured hard to make ends meet. Some have been knocked down with paralysis and blood-pressure related health complications among others. Not even the rich have immunity to the dangers of struggling to make ends meet, except those who understand God’s mindset on the subject of needs.
There is no end to the labour you can suffer if you focus solely on making ends meet, and no end to the affliction that comes from struggling labouriously to make ends meet. As you set to begin your day today, focus on grasping the word of God for your life today, and watch God position you to have divine advantage. Labouring to make ends meet is vanity but labouring to find rest in Christ Jesus is God’s recommendation for a fulfilling life.
Liberation Thought: All labour is vanity but labour for rest in the Lord.

Prayer:
Holy Spirit, touch my heart to seek the kingdom of God above every other labour and its deceitful profits.
I command everything that has risen up against my prosperity in life to fall for my sake in the name of Jesus
I declare that no weapon formed against me shall proper for greater is he that is in me than he that is in the world, in Jesus name
