A 77-year old Gokwe woman and her 46-year old son who were caught in a compromising position have appeared before Chief Njelele’s traditional court.
Although the two were caught in the act by Headman Mantiya and four of his aides, they are denying the accusations being levelled against them.
Scores of villagers gathered at Chief Njelele’s traditional court to listen to the case of businessman Goliath Mapolisa who is alleged to be involved in an incestuous relationship with his 77-year old mother, Gogo Mantisi.
During question and answer time at the court, Mapolisa could neither deny nor confirm that he is sleeping with his own mother.
Village head Mantiya who caught the two in the act told the court they laid an ambush following a series of complaints from villagers irked by the alleged incest.
After the court session, Gogo Mantisi and his son later denied the allegations to the ZBC News.
According to Chief Njelele, it is not the first time Goliath Mapholisa has done an abomination as the same court last year convicted him and fined him a chicken after he was caught being intimate with a pig.
His wife left him after the bestiality act.
The case will continue on Tuesday next week after the chief summons more witnesses from Goliath Mapholisa’s village who are said to have seen the two committing the abomination.
