11 year old Karter Alex Powell has created history by becoming the first Jamaican to sign for a Formula One team.
Mercedes signed Powell on Thursday and he will be placed in their junior programme.
Mercedes is the team of five time Formula One champion Lewis Hamilton and Finish driver Valterri Bottas. The German team has been the recipient of the drivers championship award in each of the last five years.
Good for him following his dreams. Wish all the best for the future.
