Police making headway into probe of teen killed in Arnett Gardens
The police have made headway with their investigation into the murder of 17 year old Meadowbrook High School student Mickolle Moulton.
Senior Superintendent Howard Chambers, head of the Kingston West Police, said statements are still being collected in the case. He added that strong leads are being followed.
Mickolle and her 12 year old sister were shot on August 6 at their home in Arnett Gardens.
Mickolle’s 12 year old sister, meanwhile, has been released from hospital.

However, she will not be able to return to school at the start of the new academic year on Monday.
Children’s Advocate Diahann Gordon Harrison, told RJR News that the child was released as an out patient and is being continuously observed.
“We continue to assist the family with transportation to and from the different medical appointments that she does have and also financial support as well, that when she is in fact able to start school, she’ll be able to do so having met all the requirements in terms of uniforms and so on,” said Mrs Gordon Harrison.
She said Mickolle’s post mortem has been completed and arrangements are being made for her funeral.
