A 16-year-old boy of Retrieve, Cambridge in St James has been charged with the December 29, 2017 murder of Lascelles Warlock, a 53-year-old farmer of Pisgah district in St Elizabeth.
The teen was charged yesterday after he was positively identified during an identification parade.
The deceased, Warlock, was driving a Toyota minibus along Cambridge main road when he was signalled to stop by a man who allegedly robbed him and his passengers.
The man then opened gunfire at them, hitting Warlock multiple times and the passengers escaped without injury.
The teen was arrested on January 29 following a confrontation between gunmen and police in Kilmarnock, St Elizabeth.
One man was fatally shot during that confrontation and an Uzi submachine gun with two magazines containing thirty-five 9mm rounds of ammunition was seized.
16??? We getting to the stage in this country where we going to say:…blessed are the barren, and the wombs that never bare, and the paps that never gave suck.
