A farmer was found dead in a bathtub with stab wounds to her head and neck at her St Catherine home yesterday.
She has been identified as 54-year-old Ann Meyler of Naseberry Grove in the parish.
According to police, Meyler was stabbed between the hours of 8:00 pm Tuesday and 5:30 am Wednesday.
It was also reported that residents overheard Meyler speaking loudly Tuesday and it was not until the visit of her sister Wednesday morning that her body was found in the tub.
Her body was removed to the morgue pending post mortem.
