SIXTY-ONE-YEAR-OLD retiree Conrad Matthias cried after the jury found him guilty of raping a five-year-old child.
The girl, who is now a teenager, testified against him.
It was the State’s case led by attorney Sarah De Silva that Matthias told the girl she could not go to the parlour with her mother and his two children. She was left behind and was s*xually assaulted in his bedroom.
The prosecution called the child and her mother as a prosecution witnesses. The mother was hesitant to answer question posted by De Silva. The attorney deemed her a hostile witness during her testimony.
Matthias, who the jury heard has the human immunodeficiency virus HIV, exercised his right not to take the stand or call witnesses.
They jury took approximately an hour to return the guilty verdict.
Matthias will be sentenced on December 6.
NOW THIS IS VERY DIFFICULT FOR ME BUT I WON’T CRY CUZ I NEED TO GET THIS OUT!! All persons who are abused ought to pursue recourse n no matter how long it takes don’t stop until justice is served be it jungle justice or otherwise. While I can only imagine the burden of the pain a victim bears not coming forward typically results in your abuser continuing the abuse against other innocent people. The power to stop these demonic monsters rests in part truly with the victim.
This is all just too much yo n to know this happens all over the world but it hurts more cuz why are we so powerless in these small environs,where everyone knows everyone. .thus it’s no secret that WE KNOW THE ABUSERS BUT WE’VE MADE THEM WEILD THEIR POWER N UNDUE INFLUENCE OVER US N SHAMED MANY INTO SILENCE!
IN MY MIND HOW I WISH I COULD BE THAT SERIAL KILLER DEXTER FR THE SHOWTIMESERIES…LIVING MY DREAMJOB OF SLAUGHERING CHILD MOLESTERS N RAPISTS!!MAYBE IF I WORK HARDER I CAN GET RICH ENOUGH TO PAY A HIT SQUAD TO TAKE THESE SCUMS OUT WHEN DEM ON BAIL,RETURNING FROM COURT OR IN PRISON.
