The deputy commissioner of police while testifying on the stand at the Tivoli Gardens inquest made some shocking revelations as it pertains to the now incarcerated Dudus Coke.
Residents of Tivoli Gardens have not paid utility bills since 1993 because Coke, who was the leader/Don for the area operated his own cable and phone company in the area. The deputy commissioner also stated that Coke was known to put on a show called ”Champion In Action” where entertainers were coerced into performing for free. The show was also sponsored by well known businesses and the proceeds were said to have gone to children returning to school.
Suh him was running him own state? Ghetto ppl really living in dem own reality under deze so=called area leaders. Meck mi stay a country yah, freedom and free-will is a must.
I’m sure he had a 100% collection rate for these utilities. People will find the money to pay him at all cost… No disconnects required. I wonder who is running the show now that he is gone?
Den nuh muss? Guh see how dem find di money wherever dem fi get it fi pay up each month..no arears..lol. Likkle naive me didn’t even know summen like dis was possible.
So him was not much different from the rest a thiefing cable companies then? And as for thiefing electricity from JPS. Didn’t a top big box store owner do the same thing and then blame it on a little supervisor.
