Two men were killed in separate incidents in St Ann on Friday night.
They are Donald Clayton and Romaine Pryce.
The first murder occurred about 9:30 pm in Runaway Bay.
Reports are that Clayton, a 57-year-old farmer of Bellair, Runaway Bay, had a dispute with a man when a knife was used to stab him several times.
He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Then about 11:35 pm, 25-year-old Pryce, a welder of Wharf Street in St Ann’s Bay, was shot dead by unknown assailants at the intersection of Musgrave Road and Marcus Garvey Way in St Ann’s Bay.
Pryce was reportedly standing on the roadway when he was approached by two men who opened gunfire at him.
The police say investigations into both murders are continuing.
Sigh, condolences to the family and friends of the victims. This cannot be the trend. We need to use our words to express frustrations, not resort to physical violence.
