POINT HILL, Hanover – Tragedy struck along the Point Hill main road in Hanover yesterday evening when a mother and her baby daughter died after suffering multiple injuries in a motor vehicle crash.
Up to press time last night, the police did not disclose the identity of the deceased.
Police report that about 2:00 pm the mother was driving a silver motor car during a light shower when she lost control of the vehicle, which developed a skid before colliding head-on with an orange-coloured garbage truck that was heading towards Montego Bay.
The mother and child had to be cut from the mangled remains of the vehicle.
Motorists travelling along the corridor were trapped in long lines of traffic from both ends for hours.

Just awful. That light rain is very deceiving, many ppl think only if the rain heavy to be concerned. Anyhow, to how this accident described it just seem like it was their time to pass on. Everything too synchronized. May they be at peace back with their Creator. All the best to their family and loved ones.
This is very sad, can’t imagine how their loved ones are feeling. Rip
