Capleton breaks ribs during fall – Artiste committed to completing European tour
Veteran reggae artiste Capleton is currently recovering from injuries he sustained in a fall last weekend.
Fans of the entertainer have been expressing concern on social media after hearing that the artiste had been hospitalised after falling.
It is being reported that the ‘Fyah Man’, who was performing at a show in France, fell through a hole on the stage and suffered two broken ribs.
Efforts to contact his manager to get detailed information on the entertainer’s condition were unsuccessful, but THE WEEKEND STAR learnt from a source close to the artiste that he was treated at a local hospital and has since been released.
The source also told our news team that despite his injuries, the artiste will still fulfil his obligations to his fans as he is currently on a tour of Europe.
Capleton still has at least six shows to complete before the tour concludes on December 2 in Sweden. He is expected to make stops in Germany, Belgium, and The Netherlands.
Since beginning the tour, the entertainer has made stops in Austria, Poland, Italy, and Greece.

The latest tour follows huge attention the entertainer received earlier this year after a sample of his song Forward Inna Dem Clothes was featured on the first official trailer for the movie Assassin’s Creed.
Assassin’s Creed, one of this year’s highly anticipated Christmas releases, is being promoted with the sound of Capleton.
The movie, which stars Academy Award winner Marion Cotillard and Academy Award nominee Michael Fassbender, is the film adaptation of the popular video game of the same title. It is scheduled for release in December.
