ASSISTANT COMMISSIONER DIES SUDDENLY

OBSERVER ONLINE has just been informed that Assistant Commissioner of Police, Winchroy Budhoo assigned to the Operations Portfolio of the Jamaica Constabulary Force died a short while ago at the May Pen Hospital in Clarendon.

It is understood that ACP Budhoo was at work this morning but left for home in Longville Park, Clarendon in the afternoon. It was while at home, he became ill and was rushed to the hospital where he died.
Commissioner of Police George Quallo who is in Montego Bay attending the Jamaica Police Federation conference was badly shaken by news of the death of one of his senior officers.
His only comment at the time was: “A good and hardworking policeman – gone too soon.”
