After failing to audit the books of the Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) for some years, the board members were presented with audited financial reports for 2014, 2015 and 2016 at Saturday’s Special General Meeting at the JFF headquarters. They have also been approved by FIFA’s Financial Committee.
But the JFF is faced with a deficit of over $265 million, one which the vice-president of finance Gary Sinclair says they must turn around in the shortest possible time. Sinclair says the JFF is in no position to continue experiencing a recurrence of negative net worth or cash flow.
