BE RESPONSIBLE- GOOD MORNING

That all the people of the earth might know the hand of the Lord, that it is mighty: that ye might fear the Lord your God for ever. Joshua 4:24

Sometimes, trials and temptations become so prominent and noisy in our lives that it seems as if God is silent and cares nothing about His people and the things they go through. But even in His seeming silence, God is mightily in control of everything that is happening here on earth and particularly in the lives of His children. He never sleeps nor goes on vacation. God is always and in all ways responsible for the destinies of His people.

However, I think it is very exciting when God almighty decides to show His power and might on behalf of His children. This isn’t because His children are faultless and flawless; it is simply because God loves us and is faithful to our course. His decision to act is based on the sacrifice Jesus made for our redemption. God loved us even while we were yet sinners and He hasn’t quit and will never quit loving us.

God led the children of Israel with mighty acts so that the earth might know that the Lord’s hand is powerful and also so that His people might fear Him forever. But God gave us Jesus so that we may understand how deeply, completely, unconditionally and limitlessly He loves us. Don’t take for granted all the mighty things God is doing in your life for Christ’s sake; regardless of the fact that you are unfaithful and doubtful; His goodness is meant to lead you to repentance and put a holy reverent love and fear for Him in your heart and not an endorsement for your sloppy spiritual life.

Prayer:

I lift my hands in praise to your name, for you are the strength of my life in the mighty name of Jesus

Let my soul long for you just as the deer pants for the waters in the mighty name of Jesus!
Father, I thank you because goodness and mercy follows me for all the days of my life, in Jesus name.
