The East Kingston police say they have started their questioning of Leighton ‘Livity’ Coke, a brother of incarcerated gangster, Christopher ‘Dudus’ Coke, in relation to the murder of a man who has been identified as Christopher Davis, otherwise called ‘P Boy’, in Rockfort.
Davis’ body was found in the East Kingston community on March 12 of this year.
Livity and Christopher ‘Titti Man’ Coke, another relative of Dudus, turned themselves in to the police on Wednesday after they were listed among five persons who were wanted by investigators in relation to Davis’ death.
The other men who remain at large are Lanchester Coke, otherwise called ‘Bamma T’; David Biggs, alias ‘Alien’; and a man known only as ‘Ratty’.
Since releasing the list of wanted men, the police have not disclosed what was theorised as the motive behind the Davis’ murder.
But according to sources from West Kingston, since his death, tension has been rising in the area, and more and more residents are expressing fear because it is believed that the killing is linked to the deadly gang feud that is now taking place in and around the volatile enclave.
Sources said since the start of this year, the feud has claimed the lives of more than 10 people, and scores of others have been injured, including children and the elderly.
And with no end in sight to the gun attacks and consequent killings, a number of questions are being raised by social media users as to who was Davis and what sort of clout he held that would result in police linking three members of the Cokes family to his death.
A Loop News probe based on interviews with a number of law enforcers and sources from West Kingston, has revealed the following:
Davis, when he was alive, appeared quite the unassuming individual to the average passerby, but police sources report that ‘P Boy’ was a vicious member of the notorious Scream Gang, a criminal outfit that continues to operate out of Denham Town, and consists of members who are still locked in a deadly battle with men from Tivoli Gardens.
Known for his cold-blooded approach to gang activities, Davis was considered a top-tier member of the gang that was responsible for a number of deadly attacks in the Corporate Area, and he was on numerous occasions seen as the hitman who was always brave enough to carry out operations that many of his cronies felt afraid to complete.
In fact, sources indicated that when Davis was not involved in carrying out gang activities, he was believed to be a professional hitman who had more than 20 murders behind his name.
The police also cited him as having been one of the main persons who were responsible for leading an uprising alongside other warring factions in West Kingston that were not in agreement with the ‘rule of law’ that was supposedly imposed by Tivoli Gardens.
Davis reportedly managed to gain support from many in his stomping ground, Denham Town, through his Robin Hood-type strategy that included sharing the spoils of his illegal activities with those residents who were willing to accept.
Sources said that illegally-generated funds would be used to hold a number of back-to-school treats under the guise that he wanted to ensure that the youth from the community were educated.
Sources said in the long-run, the method proved to be mainly a means of identifying potential recruits for his gang later on.
His funeral was noted to have been a big community affair with a large attendance, which was closely monitored by members of the security forces.
Hitman work pay that much? Who else is financing him? Follow the money and we get our answers. Shame that our police force cannot do anything named investigating, much less forensic investigation.
Lanchester Coke is in the Bronx, he needs to be apprehended and extradited to Jamaica. He is a menace to society, we all should be on the look up for this bloodthirsty killer. What’s the monetary compensation for turning this criminal in, if any? Bronx people need to stop hiding this serial killer.

Abka has an update on this
Reading elsewhere, it look like there is an eyewitness to the actual killing, who witness Livity shooting the victim and the other family members participating in the crime. If the witness is kept alive for the trial, their fate is sealed. Look like the female setup the victim and when she was arrested a M-16 was also discovered in the house she and another man occupy. I hope they all go down for this murder, even though the victim was no saint.

A woman has been charged in the deepening murder investigation which has implicated three reputed members of the Coke family who operate out of Tivoli Gardens in West Kingston.
The woman, Iesha Jones, has been charged with murder and conspiracy to commit murder. Jones was remanded today when she appeared in the Corporate Area Criminal Court.
Similar charges are expected to be laid this afternoon on Leighton ‘Livity’ Coke and Michael Christopher ‘Titty Man’ Coke.
The charges relate to the killing of Denham town based gunman, Patrick Davis, otherwise known as P-Boy.
Davis was killed in March this year and his body dumped in East Kingston.
Nationwide News understands a man has given a statement to the Police alleging he heard Livity utter expletives then accuse Davis of organizing a gun attack on him, Livity.
According to the alleged eyewitness, he then saw Livity shoot Davis in the chest.
Jones is accused of leading Livity and his cronies to the location where it’s being alleged they murdered Davis.
Titty man is accused of attempting to clean up the crime scene where Davis was murdered.
While another man, Lanchester Coke, is accused of helping Livity place Davis’s body into the trunk of a motor vehicle.
Steps are being taken to have Lanchester Coke deported to Jamaica from the United States.
An M-16 rifle was reportedly found at the house where Lisa Jones and another man were taken into Police custody in connection with the crime.
It’s believed that Davis had organized gunmen in April last year to attack Livity in Hellshire in Portmore St. Catherine. Livity was shot and injured.
