Parents of 2-y-o girl found in bus park to face court
KINGSTON, Jamaica — OBSERVER ONLINE was informed on Saturday that the police have made contact with relatives of a two-year-old girl who was found unsupervised at a bus park on Darling Street in downtown, Kingston on Thursday.
When contacted, an officer assigned to the Darling Street Police Station reported that due to the circumstances under which the child was found, she remains in State care as the matter will be put before the court.
The officer further explained that when cases like these occur, where it is deemed that a child is in need of care or protection for some reason or another, this is the route that is taken.
Reports are that about 5:43 pm on the day in question, the child was observed sitting on a bench in the bus park.
She was handed over to the police by a citizen who became concerned after noticing that the child was not being supervised.
According to the police, the young girl’s hair is cut in a Mohawk hairstyle, her eyebrow’s have been shaved and both of her ears pierced.

Maybe both parents are underaged? The shaving of the child’s head and eyebrows concern me though. Too many persons are having children and cannot care for them properly.
