Manchester woman accused of killing partner offered bail
Fifty-one-year-old Miriam Jackson, who is charged for murder in relation to the death of her partner earlier this month, was offered bail in the sum of $150,000 when she appeared in court Friday.
Presiding Judge Courtney Maxwell said the accused could take up the offer with one to three sureties.
It is unclear if she has since taken up the bail offer.
Jackson was facing the court for the first time following the charge.
Allegations are that she stabbed her common-law spouse, 40-year-old Oneil Coleman, to death during a domestic dispute at their home in Woodlands, in the Cross Keys area of the parish.
Jackson is set to return to court on January 2, 2019.
