The police are renewing their call for residents of Coco Walk in Clarendon to give information that can assist with the investigation into Wednesday’s discovery of a newborn baby’s head in the community.
Senior Superintendent Vendolyn Cameron Powell, head of the Clarendon Police, said investigators need the assistance of residents to complete the probe.
“So far, we are not aware of who might have given birth. We don’t have any form of information to assist us. So as it is now, only people from that community or nearby community can assist the investigation,” she said.
The head was found about 9 o’clock at the back of a house.
Investigators believe it was taken there by dogs.
This is so distressing on so many levels. Why carry a pregnancy to full term so it can end up like this. There is the morning after pill and there is also a pill to terminate the pregnancy if you nuh want to show up and do a surgical procedure. Anything better than a headless baby out there iyah.
Maybe a child gave birth to this baby like an 11-12yr old. I cannot imagine this would be the work of an adult. Still, this is sad and could have been dealt with differently.
No girl a betta yuh did give di baby to someone or give tuh a shelter …why?????? Jah know mi nuh like dat mi waah hear di full story… Poor ting probably all young deh now an nuh have nuh support round har sad eeh man.
