The Independent Commission of Investigations (INDECOM) is conducting a probe into the shooting of a bus driver by the police in Spalding, Clarendon this morning.
It is reported that a police sergeant was seizing the driver’s Toyota Coaster bus when an altercation developed.
Amateur videos show the bus driver getting out of his bus and engaging the sergeant.
The bus driver shoved the policeman and charged towards him when the cop pulled his firearm and fired shots.

Another policeman then rushed to the assistance of the sergeant and another shot was fired before the bus driver collapsed.
An angry crowd reportedly descended on the policeman who had to be rescued by colleagues.
The injured man was taken to hospital.

A me one think di driver wrong fi chuck di police? Even after the first shot he was still attacking the officer. Honestly those shots were in self defense. I’m not a fan of police officers but in this case the civilian was definitely wrong.
Nobody likes to be stopped by the police for any reason, all when we’re wronger than wrong. So many of us act all passive agressive, give our little attitude, beg a bly, or just patiently wait on our tickets while cussing them out in our minds, but even in all our badda than bad mentality we don’t attack the police. Afta we’re not criminals. We just flout the road laws because we think we’ll get away with it, but we’re generally not criminals as only criminals attack the police. He took hyping from the the crowd and made a royal and almost fatal fool of himself. When he’s walking out of the hospital it should be in cuffs on his way to the jailhouse for assaulting the officer. Fair is fair – I’ll call for police officers to be held accountable when they’re wrong, but I see no wrong done by the police here. Bus driver get bright & got light-up – simple.
