Pisgah in the Church
While they were at Hazeroth, Miriam and Aaron criticized
Moses because he had married a Cushite woman. They said, “Has the Lord spoken only through Moses? Hasn’t he spoken through us, too?”
But the Lord heard them. Numbers 12:1 – 2
What role do you play in your local church and congregation of God’s people? Your sincere commitment and zeal for the things of God keep you secure in His secret place. God promises to protect those who love Him but His wrath is against the rebellious. Miriam and Aaron murmured against Moses and that drew the wrath of God. Miriam became leprous. Today it is common to find Christians who are critical of the man of God. They judge and malign without fear for the God they serve. They rebel against doctrines that are not convenient.
Rebellion is as bad as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as bad as worshiping idols. So because you have rejected the word of the Lord, he has rejected you from being king.” 1 Samuel 15:23
God rejects those who rebel against his authority in the church. Rebellion is the spirit that manifested through Aaron and Miriam at Pisgah. They were esteemed ministers of the ‘church’; yet, the spirit of Pisgah; spirit of murmur, dissension, scandal, controversies, disobedience and refusal to support the leader’s vision, possessed them. You must not give room in your life for these wicked spirits to lead you to destruction. Make up your mind from today to desist from rebellion.
Liberation Thought: Maintain a perfect heart for this is priceless before the Lord.

Every spirit and power of Pisgah that cut short one’s destiny in his prime, you shall not prevail over me. Catch fire in the mighty name of Jesus
Every spirit of murmur, complaint, envy, jealous, dissension against constituted authority, that is in my life perish by FIRE now!
O Lord deliver me by your Spirit
