My Husband Doesn’t Want More Children, Threatens To Disown
A 27-year-old house wife, Faiza Yusuf, has dragged her husband, Muhammad Abubakar, before a Shari’a court sitting at Rigasa, Kaduna, Kaduna State seeking divorce over his lack of interest in having more children.
According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Faiza told the court that her husband does not want her to give birth.
“We have two children now, but he doesn’t want more children. He has threatened to disown my pregnancy if I get pregnant again,” she said.

The plaintiff also told the court that her husband accuses her of infidelity.
The defendant was however not in court after being served a court summon.
The Judge, Malam Dahiru Bamalli, adjourned the case till December 30 and ordered her to come with her guardians.
