The estranged boyfriend of one of the women killed at a house on Knowles Crescent in Mandeville, Manchester Wednesday morning has been arrested by the police.
The man was held in a dragnet on the Williamsfield main road in Manchester sometime after 9 o’clock.
The bodies of 29 year old hairdresser Shaneka Dixon and her friend, 35 year old bartender Llora Mullings, were found with bullet wounds shortly before 2 o’clock.
It’s understood that Miss Mullings had been visiting Miss Dixon for the last three weeks.
Ms Dixon’s three children, who were at the house, were not harmed.
The police says the perpetrator gained access to the house through a window.
