WHAT ARE YOU SAYING?
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom;teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hyms and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord” Colossians 3:16
It is indeed a privilege to be able to open your mouth and speak. In a world where change is a constant reality of our human experience, there is always more than enough to talk about. While it is natural for us to talk about the things that are happening all around us it is important that we talk about them in a manner that is pleasing to God. We must be conscious of the fact that the words of our mouth which flow from the meditation of our hearts ought to be acceptable to God.
Every word we say must be accounted for because talking is like a farmer planting seeds that will germinate and yield a harvest. Thus, what you say about your circumstances determines what the outcome will be. Have you noticed the fact that Jesus, our example and champion of faith spoke definite things about what He saw, heard and was told? When the news of someone’s death was broken to Him, He declared what He wanted to see happen. That is why He could say that Lazarus was sleeping and He was going to wake Him up. When He was told of a sick person, the master was careful to say that the sickness was not unto death.
What are you saying about that health condition that has kept you grounded for a long time now? What are saying about your finances? What are you saying about that child who does not listen to instruction? The safest things to say are the things that God says in the word. Let the word of God be the substance of your conversation.
Liberation thought: God’s word is the source of all good things!

Prayer:
Let the Blood of Jesus wash away every contrary thought that has kept me in bondage, in the name of Jesus!
I pull down every imagination or stronghold that the devil established in my mind in the mighty name of Jesus.
Father, thank you because I have the mind of Christ, in the name of Jesus
Amen
