A BITTER LESSON FOR YOUR ENEMIES
Joshua said to them, “Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Be strong and courageous. This is what the LORD will do to all the enemies you are going to fight.” Joshua 10:25
Today, I want to specifically minister to those who have been fighting battles for a long time now and it seems as if it is not going to end. The battles you fought and won in the past were training for the greater battles you will fight to secure and enjoy your glorious future and the battles were also a bitter lesson for your enemies. God is the only Being whose power and might is limitless; satan is limited. What he basically does is to gang up and conspire with other enemy forces against you so that the pressure of their attack will be greater.
Joshua had already defeated the kings he met as he led the people to the Promised Land, so the Gibeonites quickly signed a peace accord with him. But this annoyed the king of Jerusalem (At this time Jerusalem is yet to be possessed by the Israelites) who now mobilized other kings to come and deal with the Gibeonites. The Gibeonites begged Joshua to come and rescue them and God assured Joshua that none of the kings will be able to withstand him. Joshua was motivated. The battle was fierce and Joshua commanded the sun and the moon to stand over Gibeon until he completely destroyed the enemies that had gathered against them. He wiped out the armies and captured the five kings; he told his captains to put their feet on the necks of the kings. Then he told them that act was an example of what God will do to all their enemies.
Today I declare that the neck of the strong man that has been waging war against your destiny is under your feet and your victory will be a bitter lesson for all the enemies who conspire to attack you. You will defeat all of them, just as you defeated them in the past. Don’t be afraid; the grace upon Liberation covers you. You will fight and win all your battles in the mighty name of Jesus!
Liberation thought: The devil is under my feet.
