An American pilot has been arrested after he was reportedly found in possession of one round of ammunition at the Norman Manley International Airport today.
He is 54-year-old Michael Gorham, from the state of Georgia.
He has been charged with Illegal Possession of Ammunition and Unlawful Attempt to take ammunition on board the aircraft.
The airport police reported that, shortly after 8.00 a.m., Gorham was preparing to board a flight when the round was discovered in his luggage during security checks.
He was arrested and charged.
He is scheduled to appear in court on Friday.
