AMERICAN WOMAN KILLED IN HANOVER DID NOT FEEL SAFE

As investigators probe the death of the American businesswoman whose body was found in a shallow grave in Logwood, Hanover, on Wednesday, a friend has revealed that he was worried about her safety.

Nancy Hardy, 72, lived in Jamaica for several years and operated the Natural Living Jamaica guesthouse in Negril, Westmoreland.

She was from Amherst, Massachusetts.

Bruce Homstead told the Daily Hampshire Gazette he was worried that Ms. Hardy may have been taken advantage of by someone in Jamaica.

Mr. Homstead said Ms Hardy had a serious thyroid issue and sought relief in the warm temperatures in Jamaica.

A report in the Daily Hampshire Gazette said Ms Hardy lived in Amherst for almost 30 years.

She was reported missing on November 24.

Investigators are awaiting the results of a post mortem.

The police have listed 33 year old Kemar Andre Grant, otherwise called Granty, as a person of interest in the murder.

  1. You know I watched a short doc on Jamaica during the time the Spanish first came then the British. So much blood was shed I have to wonder if this place need and exorcism.

    A 33 year old man ? Why kill this old woman? Why are our men so sick and violent. There are places in the world worse than Jamaica, why our men stay so man ?

  2. Our men have no love for women..they are vile to their own damn mothers more while (not all). And have serious mommy issues. God help us
