”The hand of the diligent shall bear rule: but the slothful shall be under tribute.” Proverbs 12:24
I want to encourage you to be diligent in all you do because God will not bless laziness. God believes in diligence and hard work. Don’t just fold your hands and expect the miracles of God to fall on you like a bag of cherries. No, you must find something to do and whatever your hand finds to do, you must do it with all your heart. Don’t be in the company of those that go late to work and close before time; don’t be in the company of those that change figures or those that sit around doing nothing but talk during work hours, browse the internet and use all their productive time for social networking and then expect to be paid well at the end of the month. Don’t let your name be mentioned amongst those who are unreliable. Be the light and contribute your best. Realize that as a child of God, that much is expected of you wherever you are. Be the extension of God in your world. Let the light of Jesus shine through you. You are the Bible the world is reading; let them see Jesus through you.
I am aware that challenges would come, but I encourage you to be a stickler for the word of God. No challenge can overcome you when you stand on the word of God, the word will always prevail over every situation. For instance, Gideon was a man who went into hiding from the Midianites just like every other person but when he received a sure word from the Lord, he became the arrow head for multiple exploits. In Judges 8:4 the scriptures records that Gideon and his three hundred men kept pursuing the enemy even though they had grown weary. That means that you must ensure that this year, there will be no half-hearted measures. Take back from the enemy everything he has stolen from you and stand tall in your own turf. It is time to contend earnestly for the faith that has been delivered unto you and having done all things to stand ensure that you stand.
Beloved, I am so excited about what God will do in your life. God will divinely promote you and position you in the corridors of power. He will showcase you to the world. I declare that as you go about your assignment, your land shall yield her increase and favour shall attend your ways. Give your assignment the best shot and God will honour you.
