The boyfriend of a woman reported missing in Jamaica claims her body has been found following a search.
Karen Cleary, 44, from London, was in the St Mary area of Jamaica building her dream home to share with her partner Andy Kane.

She was reported missing on 25 November, and was said to have last been seen in a black SUV with three people at about 9pm.
Her partner wrote a post on Facebook in the early hours of Tuesday morning claiming that detectives investigating the disappearance had recovered her body.
Mr Kane wrote: “Since last Tuesday when I found out Karen Cleary was missing I’ve had a feeling that the Freight Train of reality was barrelling down the tracks towards me.
“Today it pains to say that train hit me hard I am so sorry to pass on the news that today after a painstaking search by the Jamaican police team that the time for hope and optimism has unfortunately passed, they have recovered her body, Karen has now gone on to a better place.
“Karen has been that shining star in my world for over 13 years, that world has now turned very dark indeed.”

Police at Oracabessa station in Jamaica told Sky News that a body had been found following a missing person report. Officers did not confirm whether the body was that of Ms Cleary.
This is so devastating….
This lady is not the 1st person to move overseas; come back to Jamaica with the intention of building a home that has been killed…..

This truly heartbreaking, I don’t know what hardships this lady has been through in life, but she was obviously living her best life before she went missing and to have it so cruelly snatched away so soon is just awful. I don’t believe is one person kill and bury her, the truth will soon come out. RIP Karen. My old friend who has been in England since 1962 has always lamented that Caribbean expats who build mansions back home, invariably end up building a mausoleum. Sad reality.
