A British woman was held at the Sangster International Airport in St. James on Tuesday after cocaine valued at nearly J$3 million was reportedly found in her suitcase.
She is scheduled to appear before the St. James Parish Court on Friday.
It is reported that about 4:10 p.m., the woman was about to board a flight to London when she was accosted by detectives attached to the Narcotics Division.
Four packages containing 2.5 kilogrammes of cocaine were reportedly found in her suitcase.
She is to be questioned by detectives.
