CHUCKY BROWN GET A MORE TIME DAN KARTEL

Constable Collis ‘Chucky’ Brown was moments ago sentenced to serve 51 years in prison before being eligible for parole.

The sentence was handed down by Justice Viviene Harris in the Home Circuit Court.

Forty-two-year-Brown was convicted in November 2018 on three counts of murder, wounding with intent and conspiracy to murder.

Brown was convicted on charges stemming from the 2009 murder of Damoy ‘Gutty’ Dawkins and the 2012 murders of Dwayne Douglas and Andrew Fearon in Clarendon.

He was ordered to serve eight years on conspiracy to murder, 15 years for the wounding with intent charge and 20 years for Dawkins murder.

All three sentences are to run concurrent.

While for the double murder he was sentenced to serve 31 years each but they are to run concurrent but consecutive to the first three sentences.


Evidence was led in court that Brown killed Dawkins along the Palmer’s Cross main road in Clarendon on January 10, 2009. He was also convicted of the fatal shooting of Douglas and Fearon along the Swansea main road in the parish on December 13.
