Court continues hearing audio from Constable ‘Chucky’ Brown
The Home Circuit Court heard more audio recordings Thursday morning in which Constable Collis Chucky Brown claimed members of the High Command knew about the police death squad in Clarendon.
In the audio, Constable Brown is heard telling INDECOM investigators how he and members of his team felt let down by their superiors following the controversial shooting death of a patient at the May Pen Hospital.
He said his name was being called in the incident, but insisted he had no knowledge of the shooting.
The cop said he had objected when the High Command announced in the Force Orders that he was being transferred to the Traffic Department from Clarendon as controversy swirled around the shooting.
He said he went to the Police Commissioner’s office and threatened to go to the media if he was transferred.
He said following a meeting with a senior officer, he agreed to go on 105 days vacation leave and to be transferred to the Portmore Police Division in 2013.
Constable Brown is on trial for three counts of murder, conspiracy to murder and wounding.
He said the death squad unit was given a hit list of alleged criminals to be killed.
Death Squad a necessary evil. We need more of them to eliminate all the Dons and their followers. We have to systematically eliminate all the gangs running wild on the island.
Naw lie it sad but it seems a the only that can work some police who colder than them
