DNA TEST WILL HAVE TO BE USED TO IDENTIFY KILLERS OF 88 YO

Two suspects who were held in connection with the rape and murder of an elderly woman in Runaway Bay, St. Ann last month were not pointed out in an identification parade on Thursday.

Another suspect was not identified during an ID parade last week.

But Deputy Superintendent Richard Hylton, crime chief for St. Ann, said the men will remain in custody as the police are awaiting DNA results.

Additionally, one of the men was charged with another offence. DSP Hylton did not provide details.

Nellie Roye, 88, was found dead at her home in Salem on May 17.
Her body had stab wounds and there were signs of s*xual assault.
